Naming Policy
Login ID & Passwords:
Login ID
• Login IDs must be 5-15 characters.
• Login Ids can contain numbers – 0 to 9, but are not required.
• Use of an underscore "_" & hyphen "-" is allowed but not required.
• No other special characters are allowed, such as ! @ # $ % ^ &.
• Login ID cannot contain any spaces.
• Login IDs are not case sensitive.
• Login ID cannot be the same as the Nickname.
• Do not use your password as your Login ID.
Passwords
• A Password must be –6-15 characters.
• Passwords can be alpha numeric.
• Passwords can contain spaces.
• Passwords may contain standard special characters, such as ! @ # $ % ^ &
• Passwords are case sensitive.
• Password cannot be the same as Login IDs or Nicknames.
Account Security Notice:
All users are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of their account information. The owner of the account is responsible for any use and behaviour of the account by anyone who is given permission to use the account. We strongly recommend that the account or information of the account not be shared with others.
If you suspect that your account has been accessed by an unauthorised person, you should change your password immediately through the My Account Page on the FS Website.
Login IDs cannot be changed. Regular changes of passwords should be done as a precaution and to maintain confidentiality of the account.
Please be aware that staff of Cybersports or employees of any related companies would never need or request for your Login ID or password. Report any such requests to the Support team immediately at http://support.footballsuperstars.com/.
Please note that your Login ID is never displayed on any public places like in our forums and Live chat console.
Nicknames (Account Nickname):
• Nicknames must be 5-15 characters.
• Use of an underscore "_" & hyphen "-" is allowed but not required
• No other special characters are allowed, such as ! @ # $ % ^ &.
• Nickname cannot contain spaces.
• Nickname cannot start with or be – CS, GM, FS, CSR.
• Nickname cannot contain – Support, Customer, Gamemaster.
• Nicknames cannot be the same as Login ID
• Nicknames must not be vulgar, obscene, ethnically, racially or sexually offensive or inappropriate in anyway.
Character Nicknames:
• Character Nicknames must be 1-10 characters.
• Character Nicknames cannot contain numbers, spaces or special characters.
• Character Nicknames cannot start with – CS, GM, FS, CSR, Support, Customer, Gamemaster.
• Character Nicknames are unique to the Shard.
• Character Nicknames automatically have the first alphabet in uppercase and the remaining in lowercase only.
Character Names: (First or Last):
• Character Names: (First and Last) must be 2-20 characters.
• Character Names: (First or Last) cannot contain numbers, spaces or special characters.
• Character Names: (First or Last) cannot start with or be – CS, GM, FS, CSR, Support, Customer, Gamemaster.
• Character Names: (First or Last) are not unique.
• Character Names: (First of Last) should not be real life footballer names
(Ex: David is ok as a first. Beckham is ok as a last. David Beckham as a combination of forename/surname is not allowed)
Player Managed Club Names:
• Player Managed Club names must be between 1-20 characters.
• Player Managed Club may only contain letters, spaces, hyphens.
• Player Managed Club names cannot start with or be – CS, GM, FS, CSR, Support, Customer, Gamemaster.
Restrictions on Account Nicknames, Character Names and Character Nicknames
Names may not:
1. Be obscene, vulgar, lewd, or sexually explicit.
2. Be hurtful, harmful or offensive.
3. Be racist, hateful, ethic references or slurs, or impart any real-world hostility toward a specific nationality, race or religion.
4. Reflect, glorify or emulate any real-world group or organization, terrorist society, criminal elements, discriminating organizations or their leaders and figureheads. This includes the use of names of real-world military, political or religious groups.
5. Pose or parody any member of staff of Cybersports or its affiliates (i.e. Steve Marshall).
6. Pose or parody any real life Football celebrity or Team or Club (David Beckham and Manchester United).
7. Be names created to defame or to impersonate another player.
8. Be names recognizable from existing media, copyrighted, or trademarked names including but not limited to products, companies, celebrities, or characters (i.e. Harry Potter, ).
Violations:
• If a name (Account Nickname, Character Nickname or Character Name) is deemed inappropriate, GM's may be able to change the name in some circumstances. This is solely at the discretion of GM and/ based entirely on the severity of the violation. There is no guarantee that the name will be changed. Only character names that are deemed as inappropriate are eligible for a possible name change. Names will not be changed for any other reason.
• In some cases the account or the character may be deleted, and the user asked to create a new character or account.
• Blatantly offensive names created in direct violation of the terms and conditions and the Naming Policy will not be eligible for a name change under any circumstances. These characters and their assets will be immediately deleted upon discovery and disciplinary action may be taken against the player's account.
• Only one character per account may have a name changed in accordance with this policy. In the event that multiple characters on the same account are found with inappropriate names, the remaining characters and their assets maybe deleted and the account banned.
• The amount of time on the account or character is insignificant. Players who have given their characters inappropriate names and successfully avoided detection will not escape reprimand.
