In-Game Chat Policy
At Football Superstars we like to give our customers the opportunity to communicate with like minded people from all over the world.
The best way to do this is to use the Football Superstars in-game chat system. Whilst we like give customers the freedom to talk about whatever they wish, we also have to moderate what goes on in the chat rooms, therefore we have a set of guidelines which we can use to ensure our customers have a fun and pleasant experience using the in-game chat system.
If a customer is deemed to have behaved in a way which does not comply with these guidelines, disciplinary action may be taken by a Customer Services Representative.
Guidelines for using the In-Game Chat system
Respect your fellow players.
The purpose of the in-game chat system is to allow Football Superstars fans from every country and culture to communicate with each other in a respectful and civilised manner. We realise people will not always agree with each other, however we ask that you respect the opinion of other's and show courtesy during a debate or disagreement.
Please remember that we were all new to the game at one point, try to help new players as much as possible. This will help to improve everyone's gaming experience. Abuse of new players will NOT be tolerated
Respect the community
Football Superstars thrives and relies on it's superb community to help it develop. The in-game chat system is just one way for players to communicate with each other. Please use the in-game chat system in a positive way to help build the Football Superstars community.
Any users found to be using the in-game chat system in a manner which is non-constructive or has a negative effect on the community may face disciplinary procedures
Refrain from using vulgar or obscene language
Please remember that even though you do not find particular words or phrases offensive, other users might. Please refrain from using language which may offend or upset other users.
Comments which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive will not be tolerated. Any user found to be making such comments may face disciplinary action
Refrain from personal attacks or 'flaming'
The in-game chat system is designed to encourage communication between Football Superstars players. If you become involved in a disagreement with another user, it is important to adhere to the in-game chat guidelines. Personal attacks towards, or 'flaming', another user will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
Refrain from discussing 'inappropriate' topics
Inappropriate topics include, but are not limited to; discussions of pornography, racially offensive material, illegal activity. Any player found to be discussing, or providing links or information, of any of the above may face disciplinary action.
Refrain from 'Spamming'
Please refrain from 'spamming' the in-game chat channel. This is the process of entering the same comments repeatedly with the purpose of annoying or disturbing other users.
This also includes advertising services, products or websites that have no relation to Football Superstars.
Chat logs will be reviewed periodically by Customer Services Representatives, any user found to be in breach of these guidelines may face disciplinary action. Any illegal material may be passed on to the relevant authorities.
If you feel you have come across unacceptable behaviour when using the in-game chat system, please report it to a Customer Service Representative using the Support system.
