Ongoing events
In the last community news I made mention of the madness of Dabigblast and his insane plans to single handedly run not one but two epic events at the same time. Well, he has made good on his plans and YourSFLeague and YourFSCup are in full swing. At the time of writing, week three is now completed and the scores are starting to take shape and give some definition to the tables. You can check out what is happening and stay up to date by checking out the score boards and the fixture listings in the Tournament section of the forums or by checking out his site here.
He's still insane, of course. But then perhaps that is his secret.
Of course, DBB is not alone in his running of events. Attic, manager of SC Germania, has been running the SCG 3-10 cup, and the end is now upon us. Having started with thirty two teams, it has now boiled down to the finals. Crazy Wingers are up against Team Portugal in the final, with Pathetico Madrid and Team battling it out for third place. Good luck guys!

Of course, there is no such thing as too much PMC goodness. To that end, TheCop and Maxii are hard at work on projects of their own.
TheCop is working on putting together the final details for the FFC League, the first 11-90 competition. This is not a contest for the faint of heart. An hour and a half of hardcore gameplay against ten of the best players in the game.
Meanwhile, Maxii is doing something a little different and is hard at work on PMC Premier. In his own words, they intend to "Be the leading and first standalone fully operational league, event, cup, seasonal cup, and sponsored cup home for all of thePMC's that inhabit Football Superstars Today."
Bold words indeed, but a noble aim.

Wednesday night Gaming is FTW
Two weeks ago we launched the first of the Wednesday Night gaming sessions. We've had an all comers 520 event, a level 1 520 and this week will see the first dedicated PMC event in this regular slot. On top of this, we've had something of a rebranding. No longer will we go under the name of Wednesday Night Gaming, which sounds rather dull. From now on it will be Fun Time Wednesdays. That's right, it is officially FTW.
You may now lol.
These Wednesday slots are proving to be great fun and an ideal chance to get some fast paced gaming on the go. If you're interested in taking part, or have some suggestions for future events then pop over to the forums and get signed up by clicking here.

Want to stay up to date with all that is happening in the events and community side of things? Xfire is your new best friend. All events and community oriented news is now being posted up on the Football Superstars - Official clan. So long as you're logged into Xfire, you'll get event reminders and heads up whenever news articles are posted. Xfire is also being used as the main organisational tool for Fun Time Wednesdays, so get signed up and boost your FS Experience.
I'd like to say a big thanks to those who supplied feedback on the use of Xfire. From their comments I've put together a quick guide on how to get the most from it when playing FS. No more will you suffer from message pop ups in the middle of a match.
Goal of the Month
The final days of voting for May's finalists are upon us. Head over to the Goal of the Month section on the front page to view the goals and cast your votes. Time is running short, so be sure to vote while you still can.
With the end of the month also comes the closing date for entries into June's event. So, if you have a truly glorious goal, be sure to get it entered. The votes will be up at the beginning of June and you can then once more vote for your favourite.
