It's a PMC bumper special!
We have not one, not two, but THREE PMC competitions kicking off, as well as news on upcoming official CyberSports events. On top of this, we have news on the new reward scheme for PMC competitions. So buckle in boys and girls...
SCG Trophy
SC Germania manager, Attic has stepped up to the plate following the end of the CS PMC cup and has launched the SCG Trophy. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a SCG event only, the Cup is a 3-10 PMC competition, targeting those who have a soft spot for some good old kick-about style action but in a PMC setting.
Registration for this is now closed, but show your support in the forums!
Your FS League
DaBigBlast announced this a little while back, but it has now kicked off. There are in fact two leagues running here, an 11 40 and a 7 30 league, with two divisions in each. The leagues have now started, but you can keep track of all the action by following the thread in the forums and checking out the match replays.
The league will be running right through until the end of July, but DBB is keen to make clear that this is just the first of an ongoing series of leagues
Not content with running one contest, DBB is also running a knockout Tournament. This is an 1140 competition which will run parallel to the league.
Official CS PMC events
With all of the player organised events taking place, you'd think that we wouldn't be running another CS event. You'd be wrong.
While DBB and Attic have plenty of action going on for the next few weeks, we'll be running a series of one day events spread over the next couple of months. These will take the form of round-robin competitions catering for different game types. These can be an ideal place to put your burgeoning PMC through its paces in a series of fun and friendly competitions. Keep an eye on the Tournaments forum for news on when these will be taking place.
PMC Competition prizes
If the chance to pit your team against the best that FS has to offer is not enough incentive, we're happy to say that you can now win big FS Bond prizes through PMC competitions. This applies for all competitions, whether run by Cybersports or other players. So long as we know about it in advance we are happy to support and encourage these.
You can win up to 140 bonds as a player in a winning team, depending on the size and type of the competition. That's 140,000 FS dollars up for grabs. For more details, check out the Tournaments section of the forums.
