PMC Cup
After the tears have been shed, the blood spilled and the oranges consumed, the first stage of the first official PMC Cup has now finally ended. Of the sixteen teams who entered, four have emerged from the smoke of the respective teams to take their hard won places in the semi-finals. The winners of the group stage are:
- RFC Legend
- Silver Dreams
- Storm FC
- Fighter FC
Big congratulations to these teams. Nowe we eagerly away the result of the semi final matches which will see RFC Legend face off against Silver dreams, while Storm FC face Fighter FC. Each match will have two legs and the deadline is this coming Wednesday.
Your FS League
As one door closes, another door opens. So I'm told. Never noticed it myself, but then I'm possibly not poetic enough to appreciate the metaphor. Allegorical statements aside, I'm happy to state that while the CS PMC Cup is coming to an end, another is stepping forward to take its place. DaBigBlast has been hard at work setting up his own league. I strongly suggest that you check out his thread here or cut straight to the chase and visit the site he has so enterpisingly created by clicking here.
We're all about you guys taking a hand in the development of the game and we're happy to support all player ran events such as this. Good luck to DaBigBlast and all the partcipants. It should be a corker.
KickAbout Cup
Two PMC competitions not enough for you? Fine, have a Kickabout Cup. In order to provide some
variety in the competitions on offer, TMB has been hard at work organising the Randoms Cup, which is pretty much exactly as it sounds. It's a mini competition focussed on kickabout games. You can form your teams from anyone you so choose, whether these be PMC team mates, FS Club mates, or some bloke off the street. The kit options are whatever you decide, and I weep at the decisions some teams have already made. Check out the thread on the forums here for more information.
Kickabout Cup Launch party
So what else is happening? Well, I mentioned earlier about the Randoms Cup. What I didn't mention was the launch party. Starting at 8pm on Thursday 14th of May, the contenders will be meeting up at the Metro station near Calderfax to show off their rather splendid kits before kicking it off in style by descending on the kickabout organisers by the Metro near Fretsby. Then let the games commence!
Goal of the Month
March saw the first of the ongoing Goal of the Month competitions. The votes have been taking place throughout April and now the results are in. Therefore a big fat congratulations to Hutcho with his super rocket free kick. The prize is currently being crafted by little trolls we shipped in specially from Finland, and they are suspicious, secretive little devils. Therefore you'll have to wait to see what they are. Good things, I assure you. ^_^
April saw another round of entries and we have been busy whittling the list down to five final contenders. Watch this space for the shortlist and how to vote for your favourite. Meanwhile, the entries for May are coming in thick and fast, so if you have a goal you feel is worthy of glory, then check out the thread here.

A terrible pun, but the news is so darn exciting I couldn't help myself.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to announce that we have hooked up with games networking giant Xfire and we will soon be supported by them. For those who don't know Xfire, it is the premier games networking service, providing a wealth of tools for the online gamer. This includes video capture, in game chat rooms, live video broadcasting and a wealth of other services.
We shold be going live with them in around two weeks, and you can be assured that we will be celebrating in style.

We like you. We really do. We want to talk to you and listen to you and generally enjoy some quality time with you. We know you can't be plugged into FS the whole time, and as a socially responsible games developer we would not want you to be. However, thankfully the web offers a whole host of ways for us to stay in touch.
Twitter - You may have heard of this. Apparently Steven Fry uses it. Do we care? Do we? Curiously, yes we do. Do we know why? No. No we don't. It makes no sense.
