PMCs are GO!
In case you've been living under a very barren rock for the last couple of weeks, March saw the launch of the eagerly awaited Player Managed Clubs. This is a feature which everyone has been looking forward to and will add a whole new dimension to the game. If you haven't already done so then be sure to check the Game Guide which has all of the information you need for creating and joining a PMC.
Tournament
To mark the occasion, the first PMC League has been announced! There are some awesome prizes to be won for the team, and a special boost for the manager, so get yourself signed up.
We'll be announcing more information as we get closer to launch so be sure to check it out here.
Events
While we're running a PMC league, that doesn't mean you can't. Arrange your own tournaments, host your own end of season parties to celebrate your glorious victories, or arrange a night of entertainment in your bar of choice. If you have an event you want to run in game then go for it. You can check out the events forums for like-minded people.
FS is really a community driven game and we really want to see you guys taking a leading role in this. If you have an idea but you're not sure how to make it work then give us a shout and we'll help you out.
Forum Spotlight
We are happy to have a rather splendid community here in FS. Nowhere is this more evident than in the FS Forums. Here you can find the cream of the community and a whole heap of advice and experience. It is also a perfect place to find new recruits for your newly minted PMC or see who else is recruiting.
Of course these forums aren't just a place for idle chitter-chatter, oh no, not at all. They are a hotbed of deep and cutting debate, a platform for a meeting of great minds and a lens through which the fine nuances of the beautiful game are analysed and dissected.
You want guides from your peers on how to improve your game? Check out the Player Tutorials. Perhaps you know exactly what is wrong with the modern game and have a cunning plan on how it can all be fixed, share it with the world via the Football Discussion forum. Or possibly you've had enough of all this football malarkey and you simply want to kick back and relax. If so, there are a whole heap of people eager to help you while away the hours in Off Topic.
With all that's changing in FS we want to hear from you on the forums. Your feedback is essential to making the game better and better, so lend us your opinions. You have a voice. Use it! Alternatively you may simply have too much time on your hands and wish for nothing more than lolcats . Yep. We got them covered too.
Fansites
While we love having you here, we are not so greedy that we don't want to share you with the rest of the world. It may be that this little corner of the net is simply not large enough for you. As such you need to spread your wings, take flight and then let your dainty little toes touch down on one of the new branches sprouting out from the growing tree which is the Football Superstars community.
By which, of course, I mean fansites. Obviously.
There have been a number of fansites spring up since the launch of the game and, while things went a little quiet, the release of the patch and the launch of PMCs has brought about something of a renaissance among the fansite community. Take for example the 24hr streaming TV in the form of www.fsronline.co.uk. This is set up and run by BigBubbs who is dusting off his editing kit and is giving the site a re-launch. In his own words, he sees "FSRonline being, at the start, an enhanced "YouTube" Library, meaning you can see the best FS YouTube Footage - without clicking hundreds of links to view them, you can just log on to the site and watch like a normal TV." On top of this there will be "Podcasts, News, Competitions and not forgetting your own stuff too!"
You can check out his thread discussing the relaunch here. BigBubbs is keen for your submissions, so drop him a line on the forums if you are keen to be involved. As with all community oriented sites, they live or die on the backing and involvement of the community itself, so get yourself along and show your support.
Then there are PMC sites springing up all of the time, such as those of AFC Tigers, Guardian Angels and Old School among many others. Of course, not everyone has the know-how for building their own corner of the web. If that is you then you could have a word with Kitten over at FS Community who will be more than happy to help you out. She has been hard at work creating forums for a number of PMCs and is keen to see the community grow ever further. What a star.

Keep us updated on what is happening in your corner of the interweb and like a proud but embarrassing parent, we'll do our best to promote you and show off your work to the rest of the world.

Follow FSSuperstars to be kept up to date with news of all things FS related, including developments in the game, Kadarn's atrocious match performances, happenings in the office and the new tunes played by the traffic-cone playing busker near the office. You know, important stuff.
Demo Night
A huge thanks from us to the Guardian Angels crew who helped out with a demonstration match on Wednesday night. We were showing off the game to some business clients and GA were very merciful to us. The night was a great success and the Dev team were able to walk away believing they actually deserved to win. Bless 'em.
