Kevin Foley puts pen to paper on new Wolves contract

15th July 2011 - Alma Shera

Kevin Foley has agreed a new deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers that will see him tied to the club until 2015.

The Irishman had two years left on his previous contract and has now boosted this by an extra four years ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.

He joined Wolves from Luton in August 2007 and has now made 161 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Speaking on the new agreement, Wolves football manager Mick McCarthy said: "I'm delighted that 'Foles' has signed a new contract.

"He can always be relied upon for the consistent levels of his performances, and it's great to have another key member of our squad commit his long-term future to the club."

Recently, Wolves bolstered their squad with the signature of Roger Johnson from Birmingham City.

The defender has signed for an undisclosed fee, with a four-year contract agreed.
