FTW goes International!

Ladies and Gentlemen, next week's FTW is taking on a disctinctly international feel. In anticipation of next year's world cup, we will be hosting our very own FTW themed world cup.

I give to you..... WORLD CUP WEDNESDAY!!!!

The premise is simple. You sign up by posting below, giving your real country of origin, and you will be assigned to an international team relative to your real world location. The teams will then play in a mini league for the night, with everyone walking away with some FSB in their pocket!

We will be assigning players to act as coaches for the night to help ensure its smooth running.

Characters
To make things more interesting, everyone taking part will be playing with the same levels. As such, you will need to create an alt character and give that name when you sign up. We will be adjusting the levels of these characters so that they are 15 across the board. This means you won't be playing as level 1 sluggards, but nor will there be any stat fiends on the pitch. Simply create the character complete the tutorial leave the rest to us.

Max level of character is 5 (in case you already have a lowbie rolled)

There are two important rules for this event:

-No boots: No boots are allowed to be worn. As such, there is no need for the alt characters to even have boots.

-No Unique Skills or Boosts No unique skills are allowed in the tournament. Again, there is no need for characters to have any of these skills.

You may spend the money from the tutorial on % skills only, these are avaialable in the clubhouse.

We will be checking the characters before and during the event. Anyone found to be abusing these two rules will be given a swift farewell.

Format
-This is an even-Stevens night, so all players will be set to level stats before the start of the event by Cybersports.
-It'll be an 720 international night.
-The exact format of the night will be determined once sign ups close and will be dependant on how many enter. Expect a Round Robin style event so people can play right up to the end.
-Any teams which are unable to play will award a win to their opponents.

Teams
-Game size is 7 a side. Sign up as an individual, giving your country of origin and you will be assigned to one of the pre-generated international teams by Cybersports.
-Players may only play for one team over the course of the night.

Sign Ups
-Sign up here with the name of the alt character you will be using. The stats of these characters will be adjusted to 15 on all stats, to make it an even playing field, so do NOT use your main character as you will lose your stats.
-Sign ups will continue until 15:00 Tuesday Sept 15th.
-Please do not submit your name unless you can be sure you will be available to play. Dropping out without notice disrupts the tournament for everyone else. Expect the matches to continue up to 10pm BST.
-Please note, this will work on a first come first server basis. Anyone signing up once the teams have been filled will be added to the reserve pool.

Times
-All players should be logged on and ready to kick off at 18:00pm BST on Weds 16th Sept.
-Games are expected to continue up to 22:00 BST

Disconnections
-In the event of a player being disconnected from a match, play should continue. A team dropping out before the completion of their match will forfeit their game.
-In the event that a player drops and a sub is not able to replace them, continue play and notify myself or TMB via Xfire or Live Chat. The game will either: Continue until full time, restart, or be aborted and a new match started to play the remaining time to the nearest ten minutes with the scores carrying over.
-DO NOT CANCEL OUT OF A MATCH UNTIL ONE OF THESE THREE COURSES HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY MYSELF OR AGREED UPON BY YOUR OPPONENTS.

Prizes
-No-one walks away empty handed. Every team will receive bonds relative to their position in the table. Even if you come last, you will still get something for your troubles.
-The bonds will be split evenly between the players in the team.

Further to the rules.

You can play practice matches against other international teams these tournaments will be along standing thing and we have no issues with you practicing as a squad against each other. We know how stats increase and the PMC's are checked easily with a CS tool and can give us a full teamsheet and their stats.

You grind KA or "train" on the alt chars though and you are kicked out of the internationals and NEVER let back in.

This is a fun friendly community thing and if you grind your only showing your distain for the community you are part of and deserve no part in the events.
