Yep, its that time again folks. Time to break out your animal suits and indulge in your ferral side. It's time to gather your furry (or scaley) comrades and prepare to battle it out to be king of the beasts.

It's time for the Jungle Cup

This will be a weekend event covering the weekend of Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th November.

Teams

Provided enough squad enter there will be 14 teams with a team representing every one of the FS animals.

Format

5 20 KA league each team to play each other twice.

2 points for a win 1 point for a draw.

Yes that's right. No 3 points for a win this time around as this ensures interest doesnt wane if you suffer a couple of defeats as any lead can be easily clawed back. Lol. Clawed. Like animal claws. Lol.

Squads

In a twist from the ordinary:

Squads must consist of 10 players.

Only 4 players may be from a single PMC.

For the purpose of this tournament academy or reserve PMCs will be deemed as a single PMC with the parent club, so no EE and EU making up 8 members of a squad for example.

Submissions must be made within a squad no single player entries, if you wish to take part join live chat and mingle and I'm sure someone will be looking for a member.

This is due to the fact it is a single weekend tournaments so communication between squad members is key.

This is an Event Stevens event, meaning all characters entered must be no higher than level 2. No boots may be used and no skills beyond those bought with funds from completing the academy. When entering your squad you must give the names of your team's mains as well as their Alts. Alt names may be provided at a later date, but ALL must be added by 19:00 on Thursday 12th.

Rules

No exploiting of any kind. Any player found doing so will forfeit that match and be removed from the squad.

Goal Difference will be in effect.

In the event of a tie on goal difference a playoff will take place of a 5 20 match if still tied a golden goal 5 20 will be played.

All squad submissions must be made by 19:00 BST 12th of November with a live draw of which Animal your squad will represent to be made in live chat at 19:30 that same day.


Suits

Upon completion of the draw on Thursday 12th of November Kadarn will be on the steps of town hall to start handing out your respective suits between 20:00 - 22:00.

I appreciate not everyone will be online so there will be further opportunities to grab your respective suit on the 13th of November again between the hours of 20:00 and 22:00.

More details with fixtures will be completed close to the time.

Guys, please read the details of the event in the original post before signing up. There are two key points here:

Any entries which do not match these two points will not be valid and will not be included. I have deleted
several posts as a result of this.

You MUST sign up as a team. Your character MUST be no higher than level 2. So entering by yourself with a level 50 character is a definite no-go.

If you wish to find other players to create a team with, please start a new thread elsewhere.

There have been some questions regarding the use of lvl 2 characters which have been used in other events. This is perfectly valid. Thanks to the FPA nerf, no character can grind their stats above their level, so at the highest extreme, there will be players with 2 in all football practice attributes, which I really don't see as being game breaking. ^_^

Did you mean "used in other events (except characters from WC)" ? Those characters have gym stats at lvl 15 (including stamina and speed), and as far as i know cant be used even in div4 matches. Additionaly statement "No boots may be used and no skills beyond those bought with funds from completing the academy." is only pointing skills and boots - not gym stats.

So according to it, seems possible to use WC characters that should be clearly forbidden, as we will play in "Even Stevens event"

No level 2 character can have gym trained stats that high as they only have 6 points to spend in the gym at that stage. They only gain more points when they level up, meaning they are above level 2. The level 2 cap is still in effect.

The stat nerf means that a lvl 2 character can only have a max of 2 in their FPA. The training points means that they can have a maximum of 7 in any one stat, and doing that means that all other stats will be at 1.
