Cole: Sturridge is one of 'the hardest' to mark
3rd June 2011 - Sigvard Magnus
Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has said that Daniel Sturridge is one of the hardest players he has ever had to mark in training.
Sturridge flourished during his spell on loan at Bolton Wanderers last season, where he scored eight goals in 12 football games for the club.
However, the 21-year-old has now come back to Chelsea and Cole has backed the striker to flourish next season.
Cole said: "His movement is unreal. Hopefully when he comes back next season he'll see more opportunities and bang goals in for us like he has done for Bolton."
Sturridge may still find chances hard to come by at Chelsea, as Didier Drogba, Nicholas Anelka and Fernando Torres are also vying for starting places.
Rumours regarding Drogba's future have been circulating in recent weeks, with AC Milan and Tottenham among the teams that are allegedly interested in the Ivorian striker.
