Spurs as good as Manchester City, says football manager Redknapp

Tottenham football manager Harry Redknapp believes that his current group of players is as good as those from Manchester City.
Spurs' hopes of making the Champions League again next season were extinguished last night (May 10th) after they were beaten 1-0 by City at Eastlands.
Despite this, football manager Redknapp insists it was a tight game that proved there is not much between the two sides.
However, he concedes that City's spending power means that it will be tougher next season.
"They have an owner who can spend anything he wants and they could go out and buy another four or five world-class players in the summer and try to win the Champions League. It won't be beyond them," he said.
Tottenham also look like they may even miss out on a place in the Europa League, as they now sit two points behind Liverpool, who are in fifth place in the Premier League. Spurs must also travel to Anfield on Sunday (May 15th).
