Spain triumph at Euro Under-21s Championship

Spain have won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship after defeating finalists Switzerland 2-0 in Denmark.
The team have impressed throughout their football games in the tournament and this trophy means that Spain hold the World Cup, European Championship and Under-21s European Championship.
Goals in the final came courtesy of a wonderful Thiago Alcantra free-kick and a header from Ander Herrera.
Javi Martinez continue to demonstrate his excellent abilities in the game, with the midfielder linking up with Juan Mata in glorious fashion, suggesting that the two may generate considerable interest from clubs this summer.
Spain progressed to the final after beating Belarus 3-1 in the semis, a result that was only determined after extra time.
Similarly, Switzerland needed extra time to brush aside the Czech Republic in a 1-0 victory during their semi-final.
The two semi-final losers met in a third-place play-off that ended 1-0 to Belarus after an 88th-minute goal from Yegor Fillipenko.
