Nani: Young signing is 'good for team'
27th June 2011 - Sigvard Magnus
Manchester United winger Nani has vowed that the club's recent signing of Ashley Young will help them to succeed in their football games.
The 24-year old was left out of the starting 11 that faced Barcelona in last month's Champions League final and the signature of Young will only mean increased competition for places at the team.
Nevertheless, Nani spoke positively about Young's arrival, saying: "When they bring in new players, they know if it is good for the team or not, and this signing has to help them. It is good for the team, we want more players to help us to win trophies."
The Portuguese man also recalled Cristiano Ronaldo's spell at the Red Devils.
In regards to Ronaldo, Nani stated that he had "no worries" about him taking his place.
Ashley Young was confirmed as a Manchester United player last week.
