Manchester City football manager relishing United test

14th March 2011 - Alma Shera

Manchester City football manager Roberto Mancini is already looking forward to an FA Cup semi-final against rivals Manchester United.

The Italian football manager saw his side labour to a 1-0 win over Championship outfit Reading, with Micah Richards scoring the only goal in the 74th minute.

However, the draw for the semi-finals, conducted immediately after the game, saw the Manchester rivals drawn together to meet at Wembley on Saturday April 16th.

Football manager Mancini says his side can be proud of what they have achieved thus far, and the game against United will be a special occasion.

He said: "It is a great semi-final. You could see what it meant to the fans at the end.

"It is important that we played a good game at Old Trafford last time and we have a chance to win, like them."

Before playing the semi-final, however, City face some challenging soccer games in the Premier League, visiting Chelsea and Liverpool before playing United.
