Lucas Leiva hails influence of football manager Kenny Dalglish
25th March 2011 - Alma Shera
Life at Liverpool has improved dramatically under football manager Kenny Dalglish, according to Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva.
The atmosphere at Anfield appeared to have reached a very low point under previous football manager Roy Hodgson, but the Reds have improved considerably since he departed.
Lucas believes that installing Kenny Dalglish as football manager was the right thing to do as results have improved markedly and as result, the players are much happier.
He said: "Everyone can see the atmosphere is very good at the moment. The results at the moment are also better than before.
"We know how important it is for the club and for the fans so we believe we can do a lot more."
Liverpool's 2-0 win at Sunderland last weekend has put them to within four points of Tottenham Hotspur, who are in fifth position in the Premier League table.
Overtaking Spurs would see Liverpool secure a place in the Europa League next season.
