Clubs have 'noted their interest' in Gary Cahill
4th July 2011 - Alma Shera
Bolton Wanderers football manager Owen Coyle has revealed that some clubs have expressed interest in signing Gary Cahill.
The defender has consolidated himself as one of the Premier League's standout centre-halves in recent seasons, leading to speculation regarding his future.
Commenting on the subject, Coyle said: "Gary has been the subject of speculation every day, probably to the point he is frustrated by it.
"I have been very open. Some of the elite clubs in this country have noted their interest."
Coyle admitted that there has been "nothing concrete" about a potential move for Cahill and he will remain a Bolton player until the situation alters.
Bolton recently completed the signing of Darren Pratley from Swansea City as they prepare for the upcoming 2011/2012 season.
Coyle told the club's official website that Pratley is comfortable on the ball and is a terrific passer.
