Chelsea still in title race, says football manager Ancelotti
21st April 2011 - Chad Lazarus
Chelsea football manager Carlo Ancelotti still believes that his side have a chance of taking the Premier League title.
After beating Birmingham City 3-1 last night (April 21st) with goals from Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou, Chelsea are level on points with Arsenal and six points behind leaders Manchester United with five football games to go.
Should United lose to both Arsenal and Chelsea in the coming weeks, the teams could end up level on points.
Football manager Ancelotti says that the Blues' strong recent form has put them back in the race.
He said: "In football, I learned that everything can happen in the game right up to the final whistle.
"If we thought that one month ago we'd have a little chance to come back to fight for the title, I think that everyone could have said we were crazy."
Chelsea's next football games are at home to West Ham and Tottenham, before playing United on May 8th.
