Carlo Ancelotti in the dark over Chelsea future

9th May 2011 - Sigvard Magnus

Chelsea football manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he does not know whether he will be allowed to fulfil his contract at the club.

The Italian football manger saw his side's slim chance of retaining their Premier League title evaporate at Old Trafford yesterday (May 8th).

However, the club ultimately paid the price for a poor run of form in winter, which saw them go from being five points clear of United to 15 points behind.

Now football manager Ancelotti admits that his future at the club is out of his hands.

"The club will take a decision at the end of the season, we have two more games, two more weeks and we wait and see. We will arrange a meeting after the end of the season," he said.

Ancelotti won the Premier League and FA Cup double in his first season, but he has failed to go beyond the quarter-finals in his two Champions League campaigns.
