Barcelona hold no fear for Manchester United
5th May 2011 - Chad Lazarus
Manchester United football manager Sir Alex Ferguson says his players have no reason to fear Barcelona in the Champions League final.
The two sides will meet at Wembley on May 28th, in a repeat of the 2009 final that was won comfortably by Barca.
However, despite the Catalans showing formidable form again this season, football manager Ferguson believes that his players have what it takes to win the club's fourth European Cup.
The Scot also revealed that he will be discussing Barcelona with Real Madrid football manager Jose Mourinho, whom he speaks with regularly.
He said: "I think we will depend on our own knowledge of Barcelona. It's not as if we haven't seen them before.
"But the experience Real Madrid have from Jose's angle, you always take information from him like that because he is very helpful in that way."
Ferguson will now turn his attention to a home match against Chelsea on Sunday (May 8th) in what could be a Premier League title-decider.
