Arsene Wenger's Arsenal 'rue small mistakes'
26th April 2011 - Chad Lazarus
Arsene Wenger has been left ruing the small things that have probably caused Arsenal to add yet another silverware-free season to their tally.
The long-serving football manager is doubtful that the Gunners can challenge for the title in the remaining Premier League football games, following their loss to Bolton 2-1 at the weekend.
"The team have had an outstanding attitude and will not be rewarded because of small things, but small things cost you. It is frustrating because the team has produced the efforts," Wenger explained.
He admitted that he will probably need to strengthen the squad during the summer, but is keen to make the "right decision". Wenger added that transfers are on his mind everyday.
Arsenal currently lie in third place in the league, with 64 points from 34 football games.
The Gunners will play league leaders Manchester United on May 1st, but look unlikely to catch Sir Alex Ferguson's side, who remain nine points ahead on 73 from 34 games.
