Arsene Wenger facing crunch match at Blackpool

8th April 2011 - Alma Shera

Arsenal football manager Arsene Wenger knows that his side must win at Blackpool on Sunday (April 10th).

The Gunners drew another blank in a 0-0 home draw with Blackburn Rovers last weekend, falling seven points behind league leaders Manchester United.

Although they do have a game in hand on United, that is a tough encounter against local rivals Tottenham, while Arsenal have not won in the league since February 23rd.

Football manager Wenger is now aware that there is no more room for error if they want to take the Premier League title.

However, the Arsenal Supporters Trust, which has a minority say in the club's long-term strategy, has expressed its disappointment with the Gunners' latest dip in form.

"There is of course considerable disappointment amongst all Arsenal fans at recent results in the cup competitions and the long period Arsenal has gone without winning a trophy," a statement from the group read.
